Monday, August 22, 2005We checked into the MTC in Provo and began our first day of training. David dropped us off a few minutes early and after quick hugs and a couple of pictures, he drove off and we went into our orientation. We were delighted to find out that we didn’t need any more shots! We quickly began meeting the other couples and exchanging information. We were shown to our rooms, had time to unpack and get settled a little and then it was off to lunch and our first classes. Somewhere in there we went for a psychiatric interview as the Philippines requires a letter from a psychiatrist stating that we are mentally healthy. So, if any of you are wondering, as of today, we are certified to be sane!
Our room is small, but comfortable, we have internet access down the hall, friendly people all around and good instructors. So far so good!
P.S. Notice the sign where they told David to park his car!
